As a shamanic healer I work with the medicine wheel taught by the Four Winds School founded by Doctor Alberto Villoldo which is based on the wisdom of Peru’s Andean and jungle people. This ancient map connects us to all things and is used by many indigenous cultures.
In my shamanic work I work with four ancient archetypes :
Serpent - The level of the physical body
The archetype of the healer in many cultures . It teaches us to shed our personal history the way that the serpent sheds our skin. The primary life force. The one who dives deep , who knows the way into the secret places inside of ourselves, the one who walk in beauty on the belly of the mother, the one who knows the way back ti the garden, the place of innocence.
Jaguar: The level of the emotional body
Jaguar teaches us to to move without fear and trust our personal instincts. Jaguar can help us track in a very sensitive way, particularly our emotions and sensations.
The medicine of the Jaguar helps us to disengage from our inner battles and awaken to our own inner sight transforming our shadow sides into gifts.
Hummingbird- the level of the mythic and the soul as well as our connection to our ancestors
The ancestors, Grandmothers and Grandfathers, the Ancient memories, the ancient wisdom, the ones who stepped outside of time and can help us to remember the ancient ways ,
Eagle the level of our our sprit and our connection to the divine.
The archetype of the rising sin , the place of becoming , seeing from high above, the vision of clarity and beauty, the great wings of the eagle hold the heart teaching us to see the eyes of the heart, the one that nudges us out of the nest so that we can fly high with the great sprit.
I work with my mesa, which is my medicine bundle and includes 13 stones which represent my own healing journey. Each stone, known as a ‘khuya', represents a wound that I have transformed into a source of wisdom and courage.
I am also a massage therapist offering holistic massage and lomi lomi with 25 years of experience.
